Today was such a busy day that I barely had time for lunch, so instead of updating at noon, I am updating at night right after I finished dinner.
Busy month with many busy days
It is rare these days to have such a busy month.Once the budget building is finished, I can leave reasonably early, but there is so much going on this month that I am getting home late every day.
I was still able to update during the day, but today I was busy with lunch and did not have a lunch break, so I had to update at night.
January will soon be over.I can’t decide just for my own convenience, but I hope that next month I will be able to do my daily routine.
Differences between updating blogs on PC and iPhone
The keyboard and mouse can be used, so there is no major difference in terms of simple text input, but the IME (Japanese conversion software) is different, and since I am used to Windows operation, I make more mistakes with the iPhone in the conversion/confirmation area.
Both use Chrome as the browser, but switching tabs is easy on a PC, as it can be done with Ctrl + PgUP and PgDn.This shortcut is also useful for Microsoft Excel. On the other hand, there may be a shortcut for iPhone (or iOS and Mac), but I haven’t found it yet.
The difference in screen size is not really a problem. When entering text, we refer only to the immediately preceding section, so we do not feel inconvenienced even if fewer sentences are displayed at a time.
Posting links and creating blog cards requires a mouse in both cases, which is a bit more cumbersome on the iPhone, but not a big difference.
The most difficult thing is to paste images; on PC it is easy to resize images with GIMP or WordPress media, but on iPhone it is difficult. So when I update my site during lunch time, I publish it without eye-catching images, and set them after I get back home.
I’ve written a lot about this, but I guess it all comes down to “getting used to it.” I’m getting used to updating my iPhone, and I think I’ll be able to update my blog more comfortably if I update to a newer model.
Temporary suspension of hamburger menu
I had set the global menu section to become a hamburger menu when viewing the blog on a smartphone, but have temporarily stopped. It looks a little bad because of the multiple lines, but on iPhone7 plus, the hamburger menu cannot be pushed because the version of iOS is old and WordPress 6.7.x is not supported. If you change the model and the version of iOS is up, I will change it back to be a hamburger menu.
Finally
The time I spend developing Excel VBA and Access in conjunction with each other is the most enjoyable part of my current job.I lose track of time and work on it.I would like to be able to use databases more, since they make the Excel side of my work lighter.
