LiteSpeed Cache plugin page optimization quota restored
The month of February has changed and the LiteSpeed Cache plugin quota has been restored. The Page Optimization quota also returned to 2,000.
This quota is restored each month, but the daily quota is also fixed. For page optimization, it is 60-70 at the beginning of the month and gradually increases if there is room at the end of the month.
On February 1 and 2, the allocation for page optimization was just under 70.We quickly ran out and were using 130 on the 2nd.At this pace, I don’t think it will last a month, as expected.
UCSS was generated, and the display was… disrupted
The newly added category display was disrupted. The “+” sign at the end of a line appears at the beginning, or does not expand when clicked.
Other black dots appeared at the top of the most recent articles.
We can deal with this now by deleting UCSS, but we will deal with it now so that it will be fixed properly when we regenerate it.
We will fix it properly only after the generation of UCSS is settled.
Category list and archives in Twenty Twenty Five child theme no longer work
When I was looking at the page last night after modifying the UCSS perimeter, I noticed that the category listing page was not displaying properly when I selected the accordionized items in the newly added categories.
Only the category list should be displayed, but all articles are displayed.
This was true for archives as well as category listings.
I was in the process of changing various conditions, so I do not know when this problematic situation occurred.I imagined that it might be due to a plugin, so I disabled a plugin that I had recently added, but the situation did not change.
I thought maybe, so I switched from the child theme to the parent theme of the Twenty Twenty Five theme, and the display reverted back to normal, but the category list and archive display returned to normal. It seems that the problem was caused by the changes made in the child theme.
If we can find what seems to be the cause of the problem, we will be able to fix it.After creating a new child theme and confirming that it works properly, we are in the process of restoring the content that has been applied to the child theme so far.
I fixed the Bogo plugin language switch and installed a sidebar in the blog home template yesterday.I will do the sidebar installation for the individual post template and archive template after I get home.
Somehow, the behavior looks like the category list and archive pages had a different template applied to them instead of the original template. It seems to me that the main idea is to create separate templates for the blog home and individual posts for each language, and then switch the corresponding template on each page.
However, if you create a template for each language, you will need to modify three different templates if you want to change the content of the template; with the Block Visibility plugin, you can use one template for each language instead of one template for each language.
We do not know how to apply the templates for each language, so we will first revert to the multilingualization with the Block Visibility plugin as before.
Added automatic eye-catching image generation function to Cocoon theme
The function to automatically generate an eye-catching image with the title text in a square frame has been added to Cocoon theme Ver. 2.8.3.
I tried it on the main blog and it works fine.I am looking forward to seeing the improvements that will be made in the future.
- Select a base image (currently only the color of the square border is set by CSS)
- character arrangement
If such a feature were added, blogs that mainly focus on text or on introducing the functions of specific apps one by one would not have to worry about eye-catching images, and would be able to concentrate on the content of the article.
Article Linux May Help Data Centers Save Energy
I wrote an article about it on the Linux-specific blog. (Japanese Only)
There was no link to the patch in any of the articles, so I looked it up and posted it.
Excluding comments and blank lines, it was 29 lines including rewrites. It is really surprising that the effect is achieved in only 30 lines.
Since the effect is demonstrated in an environment with a high network load, it is not expected to be used for personal PCs, but if it is applied in data centers, it will save a great deal of energy. However, if it is applied in data centers, it will result in significant energy savings.

Today I started at 12:30 and wrote until 12:55.There is about half of what I had written last night, so this is actually about half of the article’s input. However, due to some trouble, I could not apply the eye-catching image, so I will add it after I return home.
